The DIP PRO is a patented design made of new crumb rubber. The rubber used is the buffed material left from the process of newly retreading truck tires. The leftover new crumb rubber is then molded into a DIP PRO which makes it hard and strong yet subtly flexible and better for the environment. It does not cause greenhouse gas emissions like cement, which is a pound for pound CO2 emissions contributor. Additionally, it does not end up in a landfill. The DIP PRO is clean and neat, maintains its appearance and is much less likely to damage cables if impacted. Easy to safely install, remove or replace if required, even by 1 person, it is also easily upgradable if the dip changes or additions are installed.

The DIP PRO can be installed with hardware that most utility companies already have in their truck (see photo gallery). The use of D-rings will allow you to use stainless steel bands that again, are part of existing hardware warehoused by most utility companies.  

Recycled, yet new, the DIP PRO has a long-life expectancy protecting valuable assets.

• Placing these extra barriers requires a serious understanding of the structure and safety of both the wires and the pole as well as a degree of craftsmanship that is often missing. 
• Forms are required and it can take up to 3 days to complete. These steps include building the form, ordering and pouring the concrete, waiting for it to cure, removing the form and clean up.
• Between 1⁄2 and 1 1⁄2 cu yds is normally required but minimum purchase is almost always 1 cu yard. 
• Almost impossible to repair if improperly made. 
• Road salt causes damage to the concrete over several years and even though the concrete protects the wires from snow blades, they themselves are easily damaged. 
• Cracked, chipped and missing pieces are very difficult to repair or replace.
• Their own weight can cause them to separate from poles and inadvertently cause damage to the wires they were designed to protect. It is also very difficult to inspect for damage if it is suspected.
• Concrete is a Greenhouse Gas contributor.

• 1 Yard = $575 is the MINIMUM charge.

• This price is for a 32 MPA or a 4500 PSI.
• 20 minutes per yard to offload, there is a charge of $200.00/hour beyond that.
• Between November 1- April 15 depending on weather, there is a winter heat charge of $20.00 extra per meter/yard, so please take note of that when ordering the concrete.
• 2 men @$60/hour require a minimum 6 man-hours to build forms and pour concrete
